The new improved solar cooker

Here I am once again giving you an update on our solar cooker. We have tried two different tops on our solar cooker just plain ceran rap and plexi glass. With the ceran rap it got up to around 120° F. With the plexi glass we had a problem since it was windy the wind kept catching it and it would fly of so it was exposed for a while. It got up to about 130° pretty good for not having a lid. We are hoping with week when we test it will go better since we have sturdy tape to hold down the lid on it. We are going to have a solar cooker cookout in May which I am super pumped about. We are going to be trying multiple foods to cook and see which we can cook the most of and still be delicious. We are working on seeing the highest temperature we can reach so we can quickly pick out which food will cook the best for the cookout. We are having a great time figuring this all out over it is a great expirience.
